દમ-શ્વાસના ઘરેલુ ઉપચાર

દમનો હુમલો થયો હોય તો એક પાકું કેળું લઈ, તેને દીવાની જ્યોત પર ગરમ કરી, પછી તેને છોલીને મરીનો ભૂકો ઉપર ભભરાવીને ખાવાથી આરામ થાય છે.
ઘી સાથે દળેલી હળદર ચાટી ઉપર ગરમ દૂધ પીવાથી દમમાં આરામ થાય છે.
બે ચમચી આદુનો રસ મધ સાથે લેવાથી દમમાં રાહત થાય છે.
રોજ ગાજરનો રસ પીવાથી દમનો રોગ જડમૂળમાંથી મટે છે.
હળદર, મરી અને અડદ એ ત્રણનો અંગારા પર નાખી ધુમાડો લેવાથી દમમાં તરત રાહત મળે છે.
દસ-પંદર લવિંગ ચાવીને તેનો રસ ગળવાથી દમ મટે છે.
એલચી, ખજૂર અને દ્રાક્ષ મધમાં ચાટવાથી દમ મટે છે.
દરરોજ થોડી ખજૂર ખાઈ ઉપર ગરમ પાણી પીવાથી કફ પાતળો થઈને ઘટે છે અને દમ મટે છે.
નાગરવેલના પાનમા બે રતીભાર જેટલી ફુલાવેલી ફટકડી ખાવાથી દમ મટે છે.
અજમો ગરમ પાણી સાથે લેવાથી શ્વાસમાં રાહત થાય છે.
પંદર-વીસ મરી વાટી મધ સાથે રોજ ચાટવાથી શ્વાસ મટે છે.
ગાજરના રસનાં ચારપાંચ ટીપાં નાકમાં નાખવાથી શ્વાસ મટે છે.
તુલસીનો રસ ૩ ગ્રામ, આદુનો રસ ૩ ગ્રામ, એક ચમચી મધ સાથે લેવાથી શ્વાસ મટે છે.
તુલસીનો રસ દસ ગ્રામ અને મધ પાંચ ગ્રામ ભેગું કરી લેવાથી શ્વાસ મટે છે.
હળદળ અને સૂંઠનું ચૂર્ણ મધ સાથે લેવાથી શ્વાસ મટે છે.
ફુલાવેલી ફટકડી અને સાકર સરખે ભાગે લઈ દિવસમાં ચાર વખત અર્ધો તોલો જેટલી ફાકવાથી શ્વાસ મટે છે.
આમળાના અઢી તોલા રસમાં એક તોલો મધ, પા તોલો પીપરનું ચૂર્ણ મેળવી લેવાથી શ્વાસ મટે છે.
